One Shot Wednesday 2/16: Survivor

He dreams of women

with no faces—only slivers

over bone. They

all know his name,

and reach with hands

that are nothing but

tissue  pulsing,

grabbing his legs,

digging into the rumbles

of him. Nothing

should live with

no skin. But the women

won’t let him go.

They shriek—

dragging him down.
